TRAVEL DIRECTIONS
Starke is located south-west of Jacksonville, Florida. See the map below.
If flying into the Jacksonville airport or driving south on I-95, take
the 295 beltway to I-10 West. Take Highway 301 south all the way into
Starke.
If driving south into Florida on I-75, take I-10 East to Highway 301,
then south to Starke.
If driving north on I-95, take State Road 16 West and follow it to Starke.
If driving north on I-75 / Florida Turnpike, consider taking Highway
301 North from Ocala or State Road 24 East from Gainesville.
Please note that our recommended hotels are located in Starke,
Florida. The entrance to the MOUT facility is NOT through the main
gate of Camp Blanding. The MOUT site entrance is located on the
south-east side of the base, off of State Road 21. See second Map for
the MOUT site entrance.
Travel Accommodations
Players are advised to book their flights as soon as possible. Most
Commercial Airlines have policies for transporting replica weapons.
Contact your favored airline for further information. Jacksonville,
Florida is the closest major airport to Starke although Orlando FL is
also within reasonable driving distance. Preferred car rental rates
have been secured through Avis. Contact Avis online at www.avis.com or
via one of their toll free numbers to secure your rental vehicle.
Mention that you are reserving for the "Ai500" and give them
"convention code - Z005711." Mini-vans and SUVs are available for rent
to transport your team members. Call or contact Avis online for
specific rate information.
Hotel Accommodations
Days Inn, Starke Florida is offering is a rate of $63 + tax per room
for up to a four person occupancy. This is a decent bit off their
regular rates since there's an add-on on per person in the room.
Players need to sign up directly with the hotel, not the Days Inn
national reservations by April 30th to secure the rate. Mention the
"Ai500" when calling them at 904-964-7600.
