I really want to come to the event but I’m not 18 years of age? Can’t I sign some sort of waiver and come to the game?
Our team uniform is Woodland MARPAT / Black / Khaki / Paisley / etc. Since we’re all coming to the event , can we wear our team uniform?
When do I need to submit my payment for the event?
I only have ten hi-cap magazines I play with every game and my buddy has a box mag for his M4 and he’s our SAW gunner. Are we good to go?
On our local field we all play with 425fps limits and we love digging BBs out of our skin after a CQB game. Since we don’t mind… can we play with these weapons?
Do I have to play with bio BBs? What about my buddy who likes to play with steel BBs in his sniper rifle? Those will eventually rust away so they’re bio too, right?
I like playing with shooting glasses. I figure I’ve got two eyes… so the likelihood of losing both at a single event is pretty slim. Am I good to go?

We’re sorry, but you must be 18 years of age by the date of the event in order to participate. While there are other airsoft events without the 18+ restriction, this game is limited to players 18+. ID's will be checked prior to registering for the game. Any registrations from people under 18 will be voided and refunds will not be given.
Our team uniform is Woodland MARPAT / Black / Khaki / Paisley / etc. Since we’re all coming to the event , can we wear our team uniform?
We have established a pretty generous selection of uniform options for the event. Some of them are extremely common and inexpensive to purchase if you do not have them already. Being able to identify friend or foe is very important whether it’s a real world conflict or an airsoft game. We ask that players make their selection from the designated units and uniform patterns. Please note your intended uniform during registration as that will affect unit assignment. If coming as a team, please be sure you are all in identical uniforms so we can place you together in a single unit.
When do I need to submit my payment for the event?
You need to submit full payment for the event upon registration. Just signing up on the website does not secure you space at the event until payment is made via credit card, paypal or check. Online registration closes May 9th but units will be closed out sooner as they fill up. Be sure to register and pay for your slot ASAP to guarantee your space at the event.
I only have ten hi-cap magazines I play with every game and my buddy has a box mag for his M4 and he’s our SAW gunner. Are we good to go?
Only non-winding, low and mid-capacity magazines are allowed for riflemen. No winding hi-cap magazines are allowed for assault rifles and SMGs. A number of low and mid-capacity magazine options are now available quite reasonably for most weapon models. If you haven’t played a low/mid-cap only event, you really don’t know yet how fun and intense they can be. Box and drum magazines are only allowed for SAWs and LMGs. These should be proper SAWs and LMGs such as M249s, M60s, RPKs, MG36s, etc. If you have any doubt about whether or not your weapon will be considered a SAW, please ask before the event!
On our local field we all play with 425fps limits and we love digging BBs out of our skin after a CQB game. Since we don’t mind… can we play with these weapons?
We’re balancing FPS limits with safety but also setting a compromise between common FPS limits across the US and the UK. 350fps is the upper limit for assault rifles and SMGs, while SAWs will be permitted 400fps. Sniper rifles are restricted to 550fps with a 100 foot engagement restriction. All weapons will be chrono’d with 0.2 gram BBs and if firing too hot we will test it on several other chrono’s and take the average FPS. Admins on the field will be equipped with pocket chronos and randomly retest throughout the event. Players caught with hot guns or guns that were not chronographed prior to the game will be removed from the game with no refund given.
Do I have to play with bio BBs? What about my buddy who likes to play with steel BBs in his sniper rifle? Those will eventually rust away so they’re bio too, right?
NO METAL BB's can be used in sniper rifles or AEG's. Anyone caught playing with metal bb's will be BANNED from future events. Standard heavy-weight BBs may be used in sniper rifles. All other weapons must use bio / earth-friendly BBs. There are many quality bio BBs now on the market and this is a request of the Camp Blanding facility. BBs will be available for advance order from the Ai500 website to have waiting for you at the event, bags will be available for sale on site, or you may elect to bring your own bio or earth friendly BBs. If in doubt about your BBs, please ask before the event.
I like playing with shooting glasses. I figure I’ve got two eyes… so the likelihood of losing both at a single event is pretty slim. Am I good to go?
Fully sealing eye protection is required. Impact rated (meets or exceeds ANSI Z97.1 standards) fully sealed eye protection must be worn at all times on the game fields. Rubber or foam should lined the lenses and fit to the face. NO SHOOTING GLASSES or MESH GOGGLES allowed. Players caught in violation of this rule on the field will be removed from the game with no refund given. Full face protection is recommended but not required- either a balaclava or a full paintball mask that covers both your ears and mouth.
Is there camping on site?
Yes. We have a large section of the field dedicated to players wanting to camp onsite. Tents may be set up throughout this area and there is a nearby parking lot that will be available for RVs. A basic field shower facility will be available. Most hotels are located in the town of Starke, see the Travel section, which is located about a half hour from the field entrance.
How early can I arrive?
We ask that players arrive on site no earlier than 1pm on Friday, May 23rd. Players arriving on Friday can get a head start with the onsite registration and chrono process. We ask that ALL players be onsite no later than 8:30am Saturday, May 24th.
